President Nero decided to send AG Holder down to Louisiana to assess the situation.

What is he going to do? Sue the hole?

The administration has already admitted that BP has the capabilities to fix the problem, not the government. Do they think a lawsuit right now would be helpful?

In the 1993 movie Rising Sun, Sean Connery’s character John Connor states… “The Japanese have a saying. Fix the problem, not the blame. Find out what’s #$%@ed up and fix it. Nobody gets blamed. We’re always after who fucked up. Their way is better.”

I could not agree more. Whether it is our reaction to Enron or the banking crisis, nothing gets fixed but blame gets doled out. Was it really worth putting Arthur Anderson out of business after Enron?
